Corinne Tessier

Immigrant Access Fund of Canada
Board Director
Calgary
As a leader and manager, Corinne has brought productivity and profitability to numerous businesses and non-profit organizations over the last three decades. The skills she is most noted for are: developing business and financial systems that support people in their work and lay the foundation for growth, facilitating planning and strategic initiatives, managing finances, micro-loan development, fund development, and delivering training workshops. Corinne believes true organizational success and sustainability happen when we ‘build structure based on believing in people’.

She holds a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation and a Masters degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Calgary. In 2003 she received the honorary designation of Fellow of the Society of Management Accountants of Canada (FCMA) in recognition of lifetime contribution to the profession and the community.

Her innovative workplace practices led to her being nominated twice for Ernst and Young’s ‘Entrepreneur of the Year Award’, and being featured as one of ‘Alberta’s 50 Most Influential People’ by Alberta Venture Magazine. She currently serves as a board member for the Immigrant Access Fund of Canada, and mentors young entrepreneurs.
