Stephen Huddart is President and CEO of The J. W. McConnell Family Foundation, which has played a leading role in developing and supporting social innovation and impact investing in Canada as a founding partner and funder of Social Innovation Generation (SiG). 

Stephen’s career spans several fields and includes leadership positions in the private, public and non-profit sectors. He has led two successful social enterprises, and been a restaurateur, documentary filmmaker, humane educator, geophysical observer, museum curator and natural food store manager. 

He serves on the advisory boards of Philanthropic Foundations Canada, the McGill Initiative in the Social Economy, and the Canada Research Chair in Community Sustainability. 

He has a Masters of Management degree from McGill.
