Michael is working in India with BASIX Krishi, which delivers affordable extension services to smallholder farmers in India. 

At BASIX Krishi he a strategic advisor to the Company and Chairman taking operations and management roles while:
- revising management reporting systems;
- developing and implementing a SMS (text message) based field reporting system; and
- managing the re-organisation of the company.

Michael has worked with Ashoka and KPMG sponsored social entrepreneurs in the UK. Prior to Acumen he worked with KPMG turning around distressed businesses around the globe.

Michael is a Chartered Accountant, holds a Bachelor’s of Commerce degree from Queen’s University, and an MBA from INSEAD.
