Rural communities have unique ways of addressing key challenges such as distance, size of market, lack of infrastructure and services, out-migration of youth, and the devastation brought about by branch closings, whether it be a grocery store or a manufacturing plant. Learn how various intermediaries and rural social enterprises from around the world have risen to these challenges, and helped preserve the viability of their communities.
